Sponsor a Family this Christmas!
You can help to make sure a family has enough to eat and a chance to experience the joys of the season. Here's how you can make a difference and spread some joy this Holiday Season. It's easy!
Just print and fill out the downloadable Sponsor a Family Form, and fax it to 905-528-6967 or mail it to us. A tax receipt will be issued for the full amount.
Please note that you can now sponsor a family online using our secure online donation form. Just choose Sponsor a Family under the Fund Designation pull-down menu, and write any comments in the special instructions field.
A grocery gift card of $100 will allow the family to do their own grocery shopping once they are in more permanent housing. Gifts for the children should be a $20-$30 value. We do not expect gifts for the adults, but if a Sponsor wishes to purchase for the adults we ask that those gifts also be of a $20 value.
Therefore, the total cost to sponsor a family of four would be between $140 and $180. Of course, we have smaller families and larger families. Please think about the size of family you are able to sponsor.
