Brennan House is a 15 bed, co-ed residential mental health program for youth 16 to 20 years of age, with identified social, emotional, behavioural, mental health and addictions issues. Staff at Brennan House develop individualized treatment plans to support or enhance youth with their integration into the community. Youth have access to the Mental Health Clinician as well as individualized and clinically informed care.
The youth support workers offer coaching to help manage mental health symptoms. Staff provide 24-hour support with the management of medication schedule and mental health concerns.
Brennan House staff offer unconditional acceptance in a warm, supportive home-like atmosphere. Residents are expected to assume responsibility for setting and following house rules and routines, and establishing personal goals and completing their education or undergoing job skill training or employment.
