We offer spiritual care and support to residents and their loved ones in a way that is unique to them. Some have connections to a faith tradition while others may not. We walk with our residents and their loves ones, listening deeply to hear and honour their stories. They are our teachers, telling and showing us what is most important to them. Spiritual Care involves paying attention to what is happening on the “inner journey”. Sometimes there are questions about suffering, hope, loss, meaning and many other aspects of our human experience. Our goal is to provide a safe and loving home where residents and their loved ones may connect, share, and experience dignity as the end-of-life approaches.
